Hume Residents - Ordering

Hume residents receive subsidies off our already discounted prices AND free postage, offering significant savings.

Conditions of Eligibility

One rebate is available per household, limited to ONE compost system. Maximum rebate $132.30.
Residents that have already received a Compost Rebate are ineligible.
This rebate is only available to residents (ratepayers and renters) of Hume.
A limited number of products are available and this offer will be unavailable once funds are exhausted.

Can I order more than one compost system?

Yes, however any subsequent items will not receive free delivery and the additional discount off our already low prices. To order additional items visit the public store.

Shipping

Compost Community ships via courier so please specify delivery details in checkout. Missed deliveries will be taken to a local collection hub such as a nearby newsagent for you to collect within 5 days.

All orders are reviewed for eligibility so please allow at least 10-14 days for delivery.

Signature on delivery: We will do this by default if there are no delivery instructions. However our Courier (Sendle) will deliver to your local newsagent/shop if you are not home. You will have 5 days to collect your item before it is returned to sender.
Safe drop: If you specify a location for safe drop we are happy to leave it without a signature. Please note that our Courier and Australia Post will not honour insurance on safe drop, as thefts occasionally do occur.

Can I pick my item/s up?
You are also welcome to pick items up from Langwarrin. This will save you on postage for non-subsidised items. Select the Click and Collect option for pickup or use the code COLLECT at checkout.
